Love the food. I'm from southern California and this is the 1st place in 10 years that we've found that serves really authentic Mexican food. Not something salty like La Cabaña or smothered in red sauce or melted cheese like Los Portales. Gross! Mi Tierra Caliente is the real deal!
Wanted to try their food, was delicious! Dashed in to get lunch carry-out, wanted a vegetarian burrito. They were friendly, very accommodating, made an awesome loaded veggie burrito with two very good sauces. Definitely going back, prices very reasonable. Want to spend more time in the grocery store area in the front next time. Truly authentic.
I love their tacos! Small but tasty and definitely have to buy a large amount at one time. I love authentic Mexican food.
