Lots of money and time wasted here. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THESE DERELICTS FOR SERVICE OR SALES. ON ANY OUTBOARD NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU!
They are LUCKY I have not taken them to court over the parts issue. But I am still considering doing so.
IT TOOK THEM THREE WEEKS TO COMPLETE A THREE HOUR JOB!!!
Do not waste your time here. I spent hundreds for a part they couldn't even find for my evinrude. They say all parts backordered. ( i) had to go to a real evinrude dealer / svc provider to get part. Part was two hrs away.
Later took to a REAL marine service place and they broke everything down. Said this company did not have authorization to perform such mechanic work and were not authorized to repair the part because only dealers / service providers were afforded this particular evinrude tool.
Very friendly and courteous
among other topics , they were not even knowledgeable enough to tell me what oil my motor took. There was a lot of back and forth.
After getting part " FOR THEM " they did not install it correctly. Leaving me stranded on water.
